One Week

Rhett James is one week old!

This week has flown by, but it seems like he's been with us much longer than 7 days. Each day he looks a little different and we find new traits from each of our families. The latest is RJ's cowlick on his hairline. Three of our nephews have cowlicks in this same spot, on the right front hairline. It must be some Crapo gene that trends in boys. Pretty cute now, but I think he may hate the spiked tuft in his future.

He is such a good baby. Since he was four days old, he only gets up once during the night (for me the "night" is midnight to 6am). He eats a ton and is able to sleep really well. A lot of people have told me bigger babies are usually easier, and so far that has proven correct with RJ. He's very sweet.

Last night he was sleeping and laughed 3 little chuckles and made a huge grin. We wondered what he was dreaming about that was so hilarious, and loved the little moment.

Rhett is such a great dad. He helps a lot with everything and adores his little guy. It's nice at this stage because RJ sleeps so much he gets to hold him while he studies and RJ isn't too much of a distraction.
